If this is your first encounter with the church of Christ, we would like to help you to know us better,

There Are Things You Can Look For In Our Services:

CONGREGATIONAL, VOCAL SINGING. God has taught us to sing, and expects all to join in -- Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16. Thus we use no choirs or mechanical instruments of music. We simply sing praise to God and edify one another in "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs."

A SERVICE FREE FROM "BEGGING." While it is proper to urge one another to sacrifice for God, we do not use our meeting times to ask those who visit to share our expenses. The local church alone financially supports our activity. These funds are raised by the voluntary contributions of the members here, and only on the first day of the week [1 Corinthians 16:1-2]. You will NOT be asked to contribute as a visitor.

PLAIN, APPROPRIATE BIBLE PREACHING. We appeal to the Bible to support all that we do or say. More than an empty slogan, we make a serious effort to "speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent." We invite you to bring your Bibles and notebooks, study along, and be ready to ask questions if you find us falling short of this goal [2 Timothy 3:16-17].

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
